I love Troy. He's an all-around great guy. I hope this little two-minute drill is a foreshadowing of a successful NFL career.
EDIT: And did you see all his teammates coming to congratulate him on that first NFL TD? I think it's a testament to the kind of guy, teammate, and leader that he is.

I will say this once again like I did when he was behind Zwick in 04'.
If you give him ONE chance it's over... If they just started him one game Troy would be their QB because he would not let anyone pass him. Just like Madden said you can tell he is such a good football player. The way he drops back, the way his body language is, just everything to me screams he'll be a good one. Does anyone else sense that Troy still has "IT" even in the NFL??? I know it was their back ups, but Troy was playing with back ups as well... I for one would just love to see Baltimore give Troy some time in the games the rest the way out.

I'm not a Madden fan per se but I like his suggestion that Billick let Smith play the rest of the year.
Troy looked good. The first incompletion was there, too, in the end zone, Figurs just did not run that hard. As the announcers said, troy put the ball where it had to be. Very cool.
