QB Tathan Martell (transfer to Miami, transfer to UNLV)

How about we wait until:

A) Day shows a severe bias against or struggles to use dual threat QBs.
B) Baldwin is healthy
C) Baldwin shows he can pass as well as Tate, who is a talented thrower
D) He actually challenges the more balanced athlete Tate for the job (if he won that battle, Tate would transfer leaving a depth chart of Matt & a true freshman who should be redshirting)

Until then, any coaching change spells trouble for Tate rhetoric is pretty foolish.

Excuse me. EXCUSE ME.

I will spend hours recklessly speculating on possible outcomes that have no connection to reality if I damn well please.

Good DAY sir.

Martell played more snaps under Day then they did Meyer I'm pretty sure. Plus he's the QB coach doubt Martell goes anywhere

I don't think he's going anywhere either, but a lot of back ups played more snaps under Day because Oregon State and Rutgers.

But what if Tate sticks to the stenciled beard and doesn't go full beard?

What I like about our throw game with Day is most of the concepts are fairly simple but they are so effective in stressing the defense.

What I mean is we run crossers with a middle stop man or we will fake the cross and run a in and out. So I feel like we can really rep it and any Quarterback can master it.

Now imagine also having the ability to take off when everything collapses.

I too think we see a Kyler effect next year. Maybe not the crazy numbers but in the way where our offense doesnt miss a step because the QB adds a different dimension.

I love Dwayne but I'm excited to see Tate.

I'm not worried about Tate.
Not sure id say im worried about the coaching staff... but definitely a little apprehensive. You never really know how somebody will handle it until they do... will assistants leave? Wilson? Grinch? Schiano? Other position guys... what's happening with Davis? Who will they hire to fill the open position?
Can they keep 19 and 20 classes together? I think we'll probably get a good baseline those years even if a few drop... but results in 19 will matter a lot.

Somehow, I'm just not worried about our current players that much. They are already well placed to accomplish the goals.
1. Beat scum
