With that said, Baldwin isn't just going to stand by and watch. It should be a good contest. My son made me watch QB1 on Netflix and I have to say Tate was a little more than over the top at times. Hopefully he has matured the past two seasons.

I have not watched QB1. But in terms of attitude being over the top, I get a Baker Mayfield vibe, is that how you took it from the show?

Yes, I know, but I think that the argument is that if Troy had gotten all of the preseason reps and started the Texas game that the Buckeyes wouldn't have lost to them or PSU. At any rate, the larger point that the QB controversy didn't cost the Buckeyes jack shit in 2004 and wasn't the issue in 2005 remains.

I think he sees about 4 schools recruiting at the top level and having the ability to qualify for the playoffs annually. He couldn't win the job at uga, and both clemson and bama have young, entrenched starters. OSU is the only place left with an opening at qb1 for the next few years.
