That looked like CJs ball to JSN in the Rose. Put the pads on see if he can duplicate that.

Too soon old, too late smart
Looks like we done got ourselves a good 'un. Out played several 5*s during the Elite 20. Thought it significant that Smith caught a bunch of his balls? Did that happen on purpose? Or did the WRs rotate? Know Raiola was working Smith to join him at UGA. Smith's interview saw him fly the S&G flag by saying that Noland was his choice as best QB because he was a Buckeye. Guess this is another point of proof that Day & Co can pick the QBs. Go Bucks!

He kind of reminds me of Steoud and St. Clair, in that both are pass first QBs, and will use their legs to move the pocket and extend mainly. But if needed can pull it down and take off. St. Clair just has more size.
Oh, and it’d be interesting to see Langston Hughes face Buford again in the playoffs

My point is, that he could still extend plays with his legs to find open WRs. St. Clair does the same thing.
Noland barely runs, but the threat is there, and all 3 QBs aren't statues. That's my main point. I would rather have a reluctant runner, than a guy who can't run and can't elude defenders.

I agree. I actually think we need to throw in a little more qb run to keep the D honest. I think some of what we saw from Stroud was on Day protecting him. He may have wanted to run more.

Oh I fully agree! I think Day had PTSD from seeing Fields carted off the field against Clemson in the CFP semi. And also from earlier that season I believe Fields took a hit and was knocked out of the game for some time.
You saw some frustration from Stroud constantly getting asked about it after every game. But QB runs do force the opposing defense to be more worried at times
