But he wasn't missing home before Spring was he? Or at a time we could have signed someone else for the class of 2019.

I don’t like it. I hate it, but it does make some sense. He’ll have to sit out a year if he transfers, so why wouldn’t he go ahead and start that clock if he thinks he’ll be able to start somewhere else in 2020?

I get that kids should be relatively free to move around. But man the timing of this sucks if he ultimately leaves. NCAA might need to set a free agency period. Also I wonder how teammates feel about this. On the one hand they appreciate that he wants to play but gotta be pissed at the situation he leaves us in

So, I thought the competition was going into fall camp? You’re going to get time in the early part of the season and you got a ton of throws in the Spring Game. You’re one play from playing if Fields is the starter and it’s not like he lit it up. SMH

Seriously neither of them lit it up. A lot of late throws
