QB Luke Fahey (Official Thread)

The good news: start 1 is under his belt.

Every game snap and rep is an immeasurable learning experience. Just get better from here.

The loss isnt on Fahey, he actually had a solid first start. But he got screwed by bad blocking and worse drops.

Ironically I would've almost preferred if he threw two boneheaded, freshman-esque picks that sealed the game. Would've never have imagined the rest of the team would collectively play like garbage in his first start.

10p%.

Patricia allowing 30 fucking points didn’t help anything but Fahey absolutely did not lose the game. He was fine.

And West's fumble right after Bo's amazing run. That was the turning point. We score a td on that drive, and it's a brand new ballgame.

Jeremiah gives Fahey a block at the end zone and he is in for the score

Watch his drops. I’m guessing because of his height, he has to drop back much further than ideal. This puts really bad tackles in really bad spots. Great QB’s climb the pocket. Neither he, nor Sayin climbs the pocket because they can’t see their receivers. They are going to have to retool the offense to give this guy a chance.

Scary part is they just had two weeks to tinker in the garage and this was the best retooling they could come up with.

OL, TE and RB are all just “meh”. It’s too much to overcome imo. You’d need a monster at QB, not an undersized freshman. Even then, I’m not so sure.

Special teams and defense are pretty full of “meh” as well.

Just watched Allen take the Bills right down the field with a quick sort/mid range passing attack.

This is what I expected the “retooling” to be. Get the ball out of your QBs hands and into your playmakers hands fast.
