Heard Fahey was “Bauserman’ish” but I give him grace as a true Freshman thrust into that position.

Nah, Bauserman threw it high into the stands. This kid threw it into the dirt, more like old Steve Belisari.

Get both ready in two weeks. USC average but they have a few 5 star pass rushers. Fahey is going to either get hit or chuck and duck. We need to find a running game. Austin would help. Arthur being more creative would help..I’m not expecting Ben Johnson but move 4 around in the backfield like Seattle does with JSN.

They ran effectively enough today I think and I’d accuse IH of having a top-3 defensive line in the country. Maybe I’m blind but I was honestly encouraged by how we ran today - if they can expound on that improvement we should find footing against USC.

Luke will be hyped for this game. As a kid, I lived in Laguna Hills which was just next door to Mission Viego.

Offense is definitely gonna change a bit, interested to see how it looks with Luke in there with real practice/prep time. Gonna force Art to be a lot more creative. I'm tempering my expectations but we still got a shot. Who knows what's to come.

Luke Fahey's scramble encouraged me. He slid like a veteran. Throwing it to the ground showed he knew to play it safe.

I know it doesn't mean much. But it seems he understands the game situation and his own limitations. He won't be Sayin in two weeks, but I think he would be ready. Time for the running game to step up.

My worth with him is the Oline letting hits on Sayin and him being tiny. But then again Bryce Young somehow has been barely hurt the NFL.

I’m not a Fahey hater or a TSC apologist. I just want someone who can step in and not lose the game. I don’t know which of them, if either, that is.

I really think we need to abandon this 13/14 personnel crap. We cruised down the field on drive 1 and then switched everything.
