QB Lincoln "Dakota" Kienholz (National Champion)

It's really hard to ignore the similarities to Joe Burrow. Very exciting prospect

I was going to say the same thing in here, there are so many comparisons to Burrow at this stage in his career. Wasn't Joe also a 3-sport athlete in HS? Even if not, it's just his playing style. Very mobile when he needs to be, not a cannon arm but the ball placement is incredible, and just has the awareness and leadership that show up in droves on film. I think others have speculated that the staff may have wanted Lincoln over Brock Glenn...at first I thought that may just be trying to rationalize Glenn decommitting, but after watching more of Lincoln's film there might be some credence in that. There is going to be a serious battle at QB between McCord, Brown and Lincoln, and whoever comes out on top I think we are going to enjoy.

The kid looks incredible on film, however folks it's SD. Let's slow down, and take a let's wait and see until getting too excited.

I think he is probably a place holder for the 2024 5* commit, but if he can ball, get him on the field.
He's a tough kid though and he's going to be quite a bit bigger than he currently is too.

While it was just SD, Lincoln did what he should've done to his opponents if he was good.

You're honestly both right

I get your point, but at 6'3" and his dunking and Homerun hitting ability, I'm not too concerned about the level of competition truthfully. I actually think he's a bit underrated based on where he is from.

But as long as the basketball hoops are 10 feet in South Dakota, and he isn't playing on a little league diamond, his basketball and baseball highlights are outrageous. The kid is obviously an elite athlete.

Not sure if it’s been said before, but keep this in mind:

Kienholz has openly talked about Washington offering a pretty significant NIL package, but he chose the development of QB’s at OSU over the potential upside of NIL $$$ elsewhere.

On top of that, not only did he turn down NIL $$$ elsewhere, he did it knowing the #1 QB recruit in country was committed in the following class.

The balls on this kid….talk about betting on yourself.

I already love the kid and I think he’s gonna be a stud.
