So, the guy leaves OSU because he won't compete, wants to go to Nebraska until Raiola commits to them then quits there. Dude is afraid of competition. That's just sad for a sport where aggression, violence, confidence and competition are its main characteristics, he sure seems to be afraid of competition.

The weird part is why go to OSU and compete and win the job in the first place.

Generally guys like that tend to be the big fish in the small pond the situation is so weird.

Just sayin': The Columbus Dispatch reported that according to "sources" the lack of more NIL money impacted his decision to transfer too:

Signs of discontent: Here is how and why QB Kyle McCord decided to leave Ohio State
By then, sources said, the feeling among those at Ohio State was that McCord was considering transferring, though there was some doubt until the quarterback formally entered the portal the next morning.

The other factor in McCord’s decision was name, image and likeness compensation. Top quarterbacks in the transfer portal have gotten offers well over $1 million, a source said.

McCord was making substantially less than that in NIL money this season and wanted more, sources said, and OSU was not willing to facilitate that. The combination of not having the assurance of starting and uncertainty about NIL caused McCord to decide to look elsewhere.

Also, at one point late in the competition between McCod and Brown for QB1 this last summer, Brown was ahead:

"But the competition dragged on. In fact, Brown had pulled ahead until he had a couple of mistake-laden practices late in training camp.

McCord’s greater consistency earned him the start against Indiana in the season opener, but Day didn’t declare him the winner of the competition until after the second game."

Shit can't be regulated better by the NCAA. The people who sued them to get NIL in the first place basically said see you in court again if you try to regulate this. While to court implied strongly they would side with them.

That's why Gene, the NCAA and other AD's have been lobbying Congress to do something and so far have failed

NCAA is a greedy corp set up as a parent company for the little guy. Just like congress. Not to get too political, but fuck them both. Elitist pricks. I vote for @Fungo Squiggly .That way everyone gets screwed equally. Like a solid picnic table
