I have friends who are neighbors with Herbie, thus I have seen his crib. $3.7 mill seems high, but it is a pretty incredible home (from the outside).
Just pulled it up in the realtor database.. it's nasty. it's the most expensive home currently on the market in UA too

I think Herbie deserves credit for doing a good job of being a professional in his setting. I'm pretty sure its difficult having to come down to reality and be honest in the fact that OSU won't win them all. No doubt where his heart lies though. I wish him and his family well in Connecticut.:osu:

I see why his loyalties lie with ESPIN now. He can't afford to go back to being a local guy without sacrificing his lifestyle.

Writing was on the wall when Spielman paired up w/ Hooley. Herbie's gig w/ The Fan is basically volunteer work compared to what he makes at Disney.

I don't blame him for this.. he's covering sports for a living and making a ridiculous amount of money, apparently. I'd probably move closer if that were my gig. Especially if it meant that I'd make more money and advance myself in the company.

I don't really understand why anyone would have a problem with it. :tongue2:

EDIT: Damn, that was a nice house. About one mile away from where I live, too.

I would assume he will become a year round personality for them. He could live in Columbus when he only worked a few months out of the year covering College Football.

They must have some big plans for him to move him to Bristol.

Just another reason for irrational Buckeye fans to hate him even more. :roll1:

No crap....now he's "corporate" or something.....

At least he's not moving to Georgia. :tongue2:

He'd already be there. Just thinking about Southern Speed speeds you up

Kirk has spent too much time at ESPN

I think it's great to see a Buckeye advancing on the national stage like Kirk. The animosity some show towards him is silly. His job is to be a national analyst, not an OSU cheerleader, and he does it well.
