Our pass pro has been less than good. At the beginning of the season, I thought this would be a position of strength. So I sympathize with his statement.

Whether you agree with his statement is a different question entirely from whether you agree that he should take to twitter (of all forms of communication for a 45+ year old man to be using) to publicize his in-game whining.

Regardless the selective accuracy of his statement, there are other ways to word it that would be more respectful of amateur, student athletes. This is another blast from Herbstreit in the same mold as his spending almost the entire Ohio State @ Wisconsin 2010 broadcast ripping Pryor, or his 2004 statement on College GameDay that he would never send his sons to play in a Jim Tressel offense.

Herbstreit has never lobbed such inflammatory statements towards any other program as routinely as he does the Buckeyes.

Ok yes I suppose that is fair enough. Seems to be a commonly used "communication tool" anymore although I do tend to agree that it's a poor one.
