QB Kenny "the old righty" Guiton (WR Coach Wisconsin)

Hell, even Miller was able to put up 22 yards on 4 throws, while also adding a running threat. At this point Bauserman should just go grab a headset and let Miller / Guiton get their shot.

I don't disagree with your premise, but that's misleading. Miller had 0 passing yards in the first 59 minutes of the game.

One of those times I hate seeing a game on television. You have no way to see if receivers are getting open, if he his making the proper check downs, etc. Hard to critique throwing the ball away when you only have half of the story.

I agree. I would like to hear from some of the people on this board that go to the Colorado game. I would like them to keep an eye on the receivers and see if they are getting separation and if they are open.

Look for my comments in the "A-Deck" thread. I'll also be commenting on stadium pizza size, fatasses in my row, ADHD sorority chicks, and related phenomena.

Definitely will be looking for that, as that's been something that I'm very confused about. The guys are athletic, and unless they're just terrible route runners, I'm not sure why JoeB wouldn't be able to find them open. We'll see if Braxton does any better this week.

I'd love to see Kenny G get a shot, and honestly I don't know why he never will. Practice? Really? OK, I can see that a lot of evaluation, especially nuanced evaluation, takes place out of all of our eyes. But in the end you have to look at game performance as a measure, no matter what the hell someone does in practice. Hell everyone knows a "practice player" probably, who did great in practice but could never produce in a game. If the coaches are still going to go with a rotation CF of some kind instead of turning it over to Miller, then KG should get a chance. Period.

In Bauserman's defense, we didn't really see what he can do. He threw away at least half of those. Can't really count those against him when talking about accuracy. He was aiming for out of bounds :tongue2:

Not sure if you forgot the sarcasm font, but in case you're serious, then "you can't be serious". Bauserman threw away many of those passes because he panicked. He was pressured a few times, but for the most part he had good pass protection. He missed several wide open WRs.

I talked to a guy at work this week that went to the Miami game and his comment was....."Our receivers were open most plays, it was just Joe missed the opening or tended to throw late"....

This is what the commentators were drilling on him for. We can only assume that it was probably the case. You hate to hear that, especially for a baseball player. The mental side of it has to go away.

You are so quick to bring up Joe's flaws and then even more quicker to bring up Braxton's good stats.

Why no mention of Braxtons interception or Braxton's careless control of the ball when he was running, which in turn caused a fumble?

With that said I would like to see Kenny get some notable PT this week, if possible, since he will be the future back up.

And yet he ended up our leading passer for the game. That's not misleading. It speaks volumes about the first 59 minutes.

Yea, apparently my :tongue2: didn't convey my sarcasm very well. For that I apologize to all those who took offense to my post.

I've been waiting to see this kid. I thought he might get in last week. This kid has come to practice, worked hard, and waited for a shot; I'd like to see him get some reps and let's see what he can do. I don't think it should be done in a manner that damages someones delicate psyche or self image. Just get him in there. I remember he showed some signs of promise in either this past spring game or the one before that (sorry for the less than photographic memory ..but I'm old and I drink heavily).

Maybe because Bauserman is a 5th year senior and Miller is a true freshman, and maybe because Bauserman was on the field for about three to four times as many snaps.
