QB Justin Zwick (B1G Champion, National Champion)

I am pretty sure that Coach T doesn't care if the fans and media think that he's "right".

Having two (or three) game-ready QBs ensures that we are prepared to win each and every Saturday this season, regardless of suspensions, injuries or who is having a bad week throwing the ball.

If the team and coaches have confidence in any of the three guys that they can go out, start and lead the team to a win, then I think that's fantastic. It would be nice if the tailback spot turns out to be the same way.

The last thing I want to see is another round of musical QB ala Joe Germaine and Stanley Jackson. But then again, we only lost one game that year and we should have won the National Championship.
I can think of many other things that can be worser than a two-quarterback system. But I wouldn't look forward to it, either.

I'd prefer to stick with one QB. This is what I think the bottom line is (in no particular order):

O-line - This is already lightyears beyond what we had in the middle of last years season.
Quarterbacks - To me, if Zwick starts and is injury prone, Smith is probably the best backup any CFB coach could ask for. The same goes for if Smith starts. I think all we really need is consistent play from our QB's and we'll be fine, regardless of who starts (e.g. turnovers at a minimum).
Running game - YES. This we need...don't think I need to remind anyone about this.

I don't think we should read too much into this. Boeckman has worked hard this year and deserves a little reward as well. NJ may be right about Tressel's motivations. It wasn't exactly "quality time".

Coach Tressel also said that, "Justin wasnt close and I wanted to get Troy out of there quickly..."

I dont think you can read into there being depth chart movement at the QB position based off todays PT.

It also was said that he couldn't find Zwick, and Boeckman was standing close with his helmet on and ready to go.

On a side note, JK reported that Zwick was the first one off the field, in the shower, and on the team bus. JK posed the question, "Has the staff given up on him?"

I have no inside information, but I would not be surprised to see Zwick's locker vacant next year.
