QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, New York Jets)

Saw that too. Has a pro mentality

No no no. That can’t be right. I distinctly remember, right before the draft that people with revenue generating links to be clicked were saying that Justin had a lousy work ethic, and was a problem in the locker room. They said any team that chose him in the first round would be wasting a valuable pick. That’s just a fact! That they said those things that they said.

You mean the same Dan Orlovsky who is currently talking out of both sides of his mouth?

The slanders that came out of the other qb camps about him pre-draft are looking more and more ridiculous.

  • He's not intelligent.........umm, only QB in the draft that had offers to play at Harvard and Yale.
  • He has no work ethic..........Yeah right. That was shot down by Day's staff, and in Chicago, his work ethic and focus are becoming legendary.
  • He's not tough.........Clemson game last year? Nagy sending him into the Cleveland game like a lamb to be slaughtered? Raiduhh defense teeing off on him to their own--15 yard detriment--and he kept getting back up and kicking their ass.

[Smart ass fan] OK, fine. But where is his Nobel Prize in Physics? Huh, smart guy? Footballs don't adhere to physical laws? Huh? So, where's the Nobel Prize? I don't see an Olympic gold medal for the 100 meter dash either. :yow2:

"Everybody's excited," Fields said. "Of course that was a big one for us, and just coming here the road, it was awesome. Not having David (Montgomery) out there, I think Damien (Williams) and Khalil (Herbert), they picked up the running game for sure. Everybody's happy in there. It's definitely always better leaving with the win."

"It was awesome," Fields said. "Of course, I would have liked to score before that. But it was just awesome seeing everybody rally together and get together and drive the ball down the field."

"I knew I hyperextended it," Fields said. "I was just trying to see if I could get up, and then I was able to walk off the field. Then after a while, I could start feeling my strength getting back. So I was just trying to see how stable it was and seeing if I could run on it."
