The statement isn't anything negative about Ohio State, it's positive about LSU. He had all of his collegiate success at LSU, so why wouldn't he see himself as an LSU Tiger?

But he'll always be an Ohio boy, born and raised here, and I'm glad he's doing well for an Ohio pro team. I hope he gets a SB ring in 13 days.

But Tomczak remains the only Buckeye QB I can think of who actually has stats as a QB within a Super Bowl game. He got in on mop up duty.
