QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

Joe might go down as tOSU's Tom Brady. Looking back I don't know that he was a better option than Haskins the year he left and we wouldn't have gotten Fields if he had stayed. The Browns drafted QB #1 2 years too soon. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have tried to trade Baker for that Fields pick a year ago.

It didn't matter if he was at QB in 2018, the defense was too shitty to win a NC and he couldn't have put up any better numbers than Haskins did.

If he's on OSU in 2019, he isn't that much better than Fields and God could have been QB that day, those SEC refs weren't letting us beat Clemson.

2020 we have a choice between fuck all and Fields.

1 year of Haskins + 2 years of Fields > the transfer of Joe Burrow imo. What he's done in the NFL doesn't matter.

"Yeah, I wouldn't be the same player that I am today without those trials and tribulations that I went through there," Burrow said Wednesday. "I loved my time there, I stay in contact with a lot of people from Ohio State and, like I said, I wouldn't be the same player. I think I am who I am because of the difficult times that I went through in my career. And if you look at all the quarterbacks that were in the playoffs, a lot of them have gone through a lot of adversity throughout their careers — whether it was early on in high school without offers or after college not getting drafted high or having to go to junior college or anything like that. I think part of what makes certain people great is the adversity that they've had to go through."
