QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

He was probably getting ready to go play Jesus in the church nativity when this crazy woman kicked his door down, planning to take advantage of Joe Thomas' badly broken ankle. She probably planned on kidnapping him like the movie Misery. So he probably drug himself to a closet and called 911.
Joe Thomas? The Browns OT is involved!!!11!!

Not doubting you, Jake, but where did you see that? It wasn't in the quoted article. (maybe I'll read it again)

Pretty sure he's making an assumption.

Is it his baby? If so I assume it will have the last name Barrett.

But seriously...what are you doing having a domestic dispute with a pregnant woman. Don't care if it's her starting it...you walk away..she's pregnant and hormonal. And you admit you pushed her hard enough that she fell onto a bed. She's pregnant! You're a collegiate athlete. Unless she has a weapon she isn't going to hurt you. But pusher her could hurt her and the baby. I'm sorry but the self defense against a pregnant woman thing stinks...even if he didn't choke her.

She told the dispatcher at the end of her story that she was "pregnant" Right.
None of her story is believable. JT's on the other hand, is. He threw his arm up to protect himself because she came at him to hit him. And I don't know how he simply "walks away" in his apartment with a surgically repaired ankle in a cast on crutches.
If you guys ever are around 17-22 year old girls in today's culture, you would lean much more to believing him. Girls are no longer taught to be ladies, they are taught to be wild, nutty screaming banshees who demand their way and think everyone owes them everything. And if it doesn't go your way, anything you do to get your way is justified.

I would have this same opinion were the story about some random guy I'd never heard of.

She acknowledged he asked her to leave and she said she'd leave in the morning. He called the police. Both are in the article.

The part of her making up a story at that point is speculation on my part.

Not much of one. She acknowledged he asked her to leave and she said she'd leave in the morning. He called police and said he wanted her gone. The police see no visible injuries and she refuses treatment, so yes I'm assuming she's exaggerating the "choked me and flung me across the room" part.

Audio. Both are quite calm. Either she's telling the truth or one crazy you know what. Or the heat of the moment got to her and she was completely exaggerating.

Listening to the audio, she's either telling the truth (or potentially exaggerating due to the heat of the moment), or absolutely bat[Mark May] crazy. She's very calm.
I can't listen to the audio here, but calm would not lead me to the conclusion she's telling the truth. Maybe it's age or culture or any combination of things, but if I threw my pregnant wife across the room she would not be calm and she would not refuse at least a checkup to make sure the baby was okay.
