QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

After all, we got almost FOUR entire days to innocently enjoy Saturday night before it started raining shit on the team, the university, their fans, and the whole State of Ohio.

I'm sure Urban was thrilled to have a distraction from all the tedium of preparing for his trip to the semi-finals. :grr:

Anyway, it's irrelevant what the absolute truth is here, because the fact is: No one who hates/disrespects/envies tOSU will be shutting up about this. Count on it. I didn't even bother to turn on any sports shows this morning, due to the certainly that I'd have to hear the situation dissected. Particularly given this season's NFL events, this won't be ignored by the talking heads or the anonymous basement-dwelling trolls of the 'net.

Just couldn't let us have this one, could they? After all this time, and all the disappointments, just could not allow us one perfect happy ending.

It's one too many for me. Football has been a challenge all season, daring one to enjoy it without reservation.
Time for me to devote more time to other hobbies--ones I can control, in which the only negative I have to endure is due to dissatisfaction with my own choices, and not the raging selfish stupidity of people I don't even know.

Might be a tad over the top given we don't have any clue what really happened. However, given what we do know about JT from those that do know him, it sounds really out of character for him to do something like this. What we do know sounds like a heated argument that resulted in both parties calling the cops. Of course, who the hell knows. But, I'm not one to rush to judgment either way (unless it involves a scUM player, of course).

In short, I don't even care if we get the death penalty?

Aside from the links posted here, I haven't seen squat about it anywhere, even on E$p!N. No one here at work has heard anything about it...

EDIT: E$p!N now has a story on it: http://espn.go.com/college-football...iend-made-911-calls-alleging-domestic-dispute

Yeah, but my point in posting that was that it is indeed now getting out there into the national media, when many of us were hoping it wouldn't and that it would stay somewhat localized...
Yeah, the chances of that were pretty much zero. Big name player from a playoff team...that's getting coverage. Question is how much the mediots will run with it given what little info is actually out there.

At least there still hasn't been much out there, and if E$p!N didn't have it as their lead story, it may not grow legs as much as we feared...

Well, even the pedsters seem less than convinced of the ex-gf's claims. They are more focused on the idea that Anderson quit at Whisky, because he was told to throw the CCG.

Saw this over on 11w. There is sound science behind this. Relevant.

It's actually part of a video. You should look it up. Pretty awesome.
