Barrett's ceiling is considerably lower than Haskins as a passer, but it's an absolute guarantee that Dwayne will have a LOT more negative plays (without even considering whether OSU truly has a LT ready to protect him given the Alabi stuff).
Barrett is a wizard at transforming 7-10 yd losses into -2 to 2 yd gains (if not much more). He didn't have the arm or athleticism of Braxton, Pryor but was magnitudes greater at managing the pocket. It cost him some downfield vision but it helped them live for another down instead of being virtually guaranteed to punt after a 3rd and 17 coming up.
