QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

Except he doesn't. You're taking a one or two game sample and projecting it out o the whole season. The only wide open guy he "missed" yesterday were one where Dixon stepped out on his own and one where Olave turned the wrong direction and alligator armed a perfect throw. You pointed out the Pick 6's he's had 2 of them all year one late the debacle against Purdue when he was clearly forcing things and one against Maryland. You have no objectivity on this an need to step back and take a look at things again. If you think Haskin's passing stats are equivalent to JT's in anyway you are off your rocker.
If you think this is a one or two game thing you aren't paying attention. I didnt say his stats were equivilant, the focus on the stats is equivilant. He's a better QB but there are flaws that get overshadowed. I'm not going to argue anymore with you folks, I have no feeling in this whatsoever, only objective opinion. Look at the whole picture. If he continues to improve his pocket presence and running, it will change things.

It's not whining, and I've never discounted his production at tOSU. I questioned his regression over the season and how it translates to the pros. His arm maybe strong enough but it takes more than that at the next level and I've seen some throws lately that wont fly against good college competition let alone NFL DB's.
His crossing routes were dead on beginning of the year and have become passes that he throws behind receivers lately. The Pick 6's are killers. He's missed wide open guys lately that he didnt miss early on. Competition is better but still not great considering. I'm willing to have discussion all day about what I think is in good shape and what isnt. Stats aren't the be all end all of things, though his are great. Remember the hem-hawing about JT's stats in certain games? Only the names have changed.

Well the weather hasn’t been as good! In the MSU game the refs pants were flapping like a flag. And there’s been wind and colder conditions the last few games. The coaches went away from tempo which keeps him more in rhythm. Early on teams were weaker and didn’t have film of him. Meyer has also been pushing the rushing attack more over the past few games. Hasn’t been looking as good with pressure and maybe the big hit he took about a month ago has some effect on when the rush is around him. Hard to complain about a 400 yard passing perfomance but if you give him time and a clean pocket he typically delivers great balls. He’s honestly been really safe and efficient with the ball with how many passing attempts he’s had! Not taking a lot of sacks and not turning it over much.
