Scout's Brian Dohn reporting Dwayne will visit tOSU this weekend.
Yet another VERY impressive film and one I had been waiting for. Incredible anticipation and advanced ball placement...really tight windows he is throwing into and makes every throw on the field. Looks like he might have grown a tad and his arm strength is improved. Throws very well on the run and properly squares his shoulders to his target. The only minus to his game is that he is not at all dangerous with his legs. I would say his mechanics are ahead of Guarantan but Guarantano is the far superior athlete...plus Gurantano's mechanical flaws are fairly minor. I still give my slight preference to Guarantano but Haskins would be FAR from a consolation prize...I honestly think he looks like a JT Barrett incarnate with slightly better arm strength and slightly less ability with his legs. And I think he has the ability to have similar results at the next level as JT.
And most of the SEC. He throws into windows that are very small, and uses touch well.Hope we get involved here down the stretch.. his throwing ability is better than anyone we've recruited this year
I stand by this assessment. I would be absolutely overjoyed to land Haskins. I think he would be perfect here and really think he is the best QB prospect in the country...at worst top 5.
TW is a heck of an athlete who has a very high ceiling if he has the right QB coach. I say let them come in and compete. We should not assume the coaches are looking for a replacement.Agreed - not to rain on Tristen more than I have but I don't think there is even a discussion between the two.

From Brim:The staffs recent refocus on the QB prospects is not by accident - there is a reason behind it and with one QB commit I think it's clear that the rumblings appear to at least have some fire to them.
From my vantage point, the thing to note is that the Buckeyes' depth chart at quarterback isn't as loaded as it seems. JT Barrett, Stephen Collier and Joe Burrow are present and accounted for, but with Cardale Jones' departure (whether to the NFL or a transfer) and Torrance Gibson potentially staying at wide receiver, a second quarterback in 2016 makes sense, especially given the fact that Wallace is hardly a finished product at the position.
