Yeah Honestly I came away from the Tennesee game more impressed with Bryce Young as QB then Hendon Hooker. It's not Hooker's fault but Tennessse had people running wide the fuck open everywhere. He had to have the stones not miss knowing if he did it could be game but difficulty of plays was way higher for Bryce Young

Yeah, if I were an NFL GM I'd be drafting Bryce Young ahead of Hendon Hooker. (And, of course, behind CJ Stroud.)

CJ's game came against one of the best Pass Defenses in the country and he was lights out once the coaches allowed him to be. This week he'll be lights out again and probably add 5 or more touchdowns but it won't be as impressive as it was on the road at PSU and trailing. Should be a Heisman level moment but dumbasses gonna dumbass (referring to media).

For the record, I absolutely do not believe that Hooker should be ahead of Stroud. I think that DBB's analysis of the numbers convinces me that Stroud should be #1. And the only reason I'm relying on the numbers is because I haven't seen much of Hooker or Young or anyone else this year. But I know that a lot of people come up with their conclusion before the end of the season, and then they look at the facts. Then they'll only remember the facts they want to remember before making their argument.
That's why I said DBB's analysis should be mandatory reading for any Heisman voter. If you want to vote for Hooker or Young or for Sean Clifford, fine, but you should have at least read the unbiased numbers.

Stroud, who is widely viewed as a top-two candidate along with Hooker to win this year’s Heisman Trophy, makes the list of Maxwell semifinalists after completing 71.3 percent of his passing attempts for 2,377 yards and 29 touchdowns with four interceptions in Ohio State’s first eight games of the season. He currently leads all FBS quarterbacks in passer rating (200.2) and is tied for the national lead in passing touchdowns.

A comparison of the conditions that the two front-runners in the Heisman race will be facing this week:

How many talking heads will point out the difference in the defenses that Stroud and Hooker will face?

How many will observe that there is a 21 mph difference in the wind they will be throwing in?

Hooker will throw a good deal... because he will have to. Stroud might not throw much, partly because the conditions will practically prohibit it and partly because McCord will likely play at least the entire fourth quarter and probably more.

Here's hoping the Georgia defense has all of the folks on the SEC network saying, "Yeah, but..."
