QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

Yeah I get that and Pnuts comment too.

I’m just saying he’s a HUGE recruit for this cycle and there hasn’t been much discussion on here about the dire need for him, his talents, etc etc etc.

It’s just weird that it’s so quiet and it seems like it may have to do with the fact that this class already has Miller. And I’m not throwing shade at him at all but Stroud certainly isn’t the “#2 QB” by any means.

I’m glad to have both of these guys assuming they both sign.

It’s just that the QB room is so darn thin and Stroud is such an intriguing prospect that the lack of discussion is something I found to be interesting.
There just hasn't been much to talk about... obviously he's a huge recruit we have to land but there just hasn't been a ton to chat about.

Day and Yurcich were in Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) making their visit with Ohio State quarterback target CJ Stroud ahead of Stroud’s official visit to Ohio State. Stroud flew to Ohio State at 2:00 pm PT on Thursday to begin his official visit with the Buckeyes.

“He’ll be on the plane in a few hours,” Rancho Cucamonga head coach Mark Verti told Bucknuts early Thursday afternoon. “He will be in Columbus tonight.”

In addition to Stroud on Thursday, Day also made in-home visits with two other Californian’s on Wednesday. He first visited with Ohio State cornerbacks commitment Clark Phillips from La Habra (Calif.) and then visited Ohio State ‘bullet’ position commitment Kourt Williams on Wednesday night. Day also visited Ohio State quarterback commitment Jack Miller from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral on Wednesday in what was a very important West Coast recruiting trip for Day and the Buckeyes.

Phillips and Williams are very important parts of the Buckeyes’ No. 4 ranked recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.

Stroud would be an absolutely huge addition to the class. The 6-foot-2 and 194-pound Stroud is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He is the country’s No. 83 overall prospect, the No. 2 pro-style quarterback, and the No. 10 prospect in California.
