You have to like his confidence; but, I think he's going to have to earn it.
Miller got first crack but everytime after that was Stroud first. So it seems like the coaches towards the end of the season had I hiarchy and weren't just rotating them.
I don't think we should try to extrapolate anything from the lack of helpful information we got last season. They were each put in to hand off and run the ball and they each did that. You wouldn't alternate for handoffs in the late season games and you obviously have to pick one to do it. That was Stroud and he could well take the job, but to base that on what we saw strikes me as a correlation/causation problem. Day will let this play out through the spring and possibly the early fall schedule. Playing MN and OR to start the season makes that a little problematic, but if you've got two (now three) QBs who are practicing/scrimmaging well and there hasn't been clear separation, that's what you do.
