QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

Yeah. Very laid back players coach, but also loves the analytics and is a nerdy wiz.

Makes sense, he did play and graduate from Yale. Dude’s chill Colorado roots do shine though.

If the Texans bet the house, and spend everything they can over his time their on Oline, CJ will shred the NFL. He is still threading the ball and laying it perfectly where his guys can catch the ball. Sell out of Offensive linemen and CJ will be an All Pro. Special special kid

Similar situation to Fields and the Bears. Defensive linemen are just too fast and athletic in todays NFL to not have a solid protector for new QBs

Yeah He had a really nice deep ball that was broken up with a mix of a great p;lay and bad stack by Nico Collins

Texans are crazy young and new both in the coaching staff and players. Definitely going to be a lot of errors both by Stroud and the guys around him. Growing pains.

That back shoulder fade was perfection.

He has improved so much every week and that’s awesome.

He still could’ve picked up yards with his feet today but instead extended the play and threw (barely incomplete). His accuracy is just next level stuff really. The deep throw to Collins was dropped/broken up and he had a few more throws that were really sharp too.

Such a bummer we wasted his eligibility.

Stroud to become the first rookie QB to come from Ohio State to start a season opener.
:boogie:....:banger:.... 8D

Just sayin': The last 3 QBs all went pretty high in the draft. Day is developing a very good reputation for developing QBs. Hopefully the trend continues and one of these days Ohio State will be QBU.

Dwayne Haskins - No. 15 overall pick in 2019
Justin Fields - No. 11 overall pick in 2021
CJ Stroud - No. 2 overall pick in 2023
