I think it's safe to say a little bit of all of the above, with the legal issues being a catalyst in his and his family's discussion of a transfer.not sure if it's something we can discuss here, but has anyone heard word if it's a playing time issue, or him being homesick, or disgruntled with the staff over how his legal issue was handled, or all of none of the above?

After Schoenhoft's transfer and Boeckman's fate-season dropoff, he has to be optimistic about his chances at grabbing the starting spot this season...and if anyone starts mentioning Pryor having a real shot at being a starter as a true freshman, forget about it.

Antonio Henton was elevated to the No. 2 position in bowl practice. Though he didn't play in the title game, the coaching staff likely is plotting how to use the more mobile Henton this fall, at least situationally.
Each of the past two national champions used a two-quarterback template that would look similar to a Boeckman/Henton rotation: Florida had steady senior Chris Leak and scrambling freshman Tim Tebow in 2006, and Louisiana State had fifth-year senior Matt Flynn and sophomore Ryan Perrilloux last season.
"I think it could work," Ohio State quarterbacks coach Joe Daniels said. "Sometimes you can get carried away with it, but I think if you work on the strengths of each of the guys, and they're different, then I think you can accomplish a lot."
Then there's Terrelle Pryor, who apparently is the next Dan Marino, Joe Montana, John Elway, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning all rolled into one. The Jeannette, Pa., prospect has Ohio State among his final choices, and he has been vocal about getting a chance to play right away.
Henton said he's not worried about competing with Pryor.
"That just makes me think they want another quarterback to come in that can do some things I can do," Henton said. "I hope they do get him. That makes me go harder."
On a two-quarterback system with Henton, he said, "That's not a big deal to me at all. If that gives us a better chance of winning, I'm all for it. I know he's a great player, and he can give us an extra added dimension."

OK, no sooner do I say I have no news to report, then I get a delayed call back and now I have news:
Rumors had been flying that QB Antonio Henton has been thinking about transferring. Some speculated the Georgia native may head back closer to home, specifically to Georgia Southern. It's a successful Division I-AA school where he could play right away, and the offensive coordinator there is Henton's old high school coach, Rance Gillespie.
Well, forget about it. Gillespie just told me he kept in close touch with Henton, and has heard nothing about him transferring anywhere.
"He is extremely happy there (at Ohio State)," Gillespie said.

I would be afraid of Tp transfering out if he didn't get the starting job after next year when todd leaves. I think in the end antonio will either transfer or switch positions if we get TP. A two quarterback system wouldn't work because they are both similar style quarterbacks. I guess this would be a good problem to have though.
