QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

Dodds and Ends - CBSSports.com

This just in from the Ohio State camp: Watch for little-known quarterback Antonio Henton to get "10 to 15 percent" of the snaps against LSU in the BCS title game. The Ohio State coaches apparently like Henton's dual purpose ability. The redshirt freshman played in four games, threw six passes (one for a touchdown) and rushed nine times for 41 yards.

That would come out to 6-10 snaps, give or take a few. May not be out of the rhelm of possibility...

Mili's escapades of substiting h's for o's have been expanded to include a's! :p

next thing you know "freakin' elitist snobs" will be spelled "frehkin elitist snhbs".

Ohio State has played extremely well with their gameplan throughout the whole season. Why change it on such a huge stage? I understand some tricky and unexpected plays can yield excellent results, but there is no point throwing in an inexperienced QB in the National Championship, whatsoever. It will only do more bad than good.

No disrespect to Henton; I love him. I think that Tressel's just throwing it out there to get LSU and Miles all worked up. If he's getting them half as worked up as he's getting me, then he's doing a pretty fucking good job.

I agree, but I trust the coach.I don't think he would do anything to harm our chances.

I dont think JT just throws him in there....on his charts he already has the field position, down and distance, etc all planned on when to bring in Henton...we know jt wont force things...either way we are good...some bullets in the chamber, lsu has to prepare

I think even if we just throw him in a few plays and all he does is hand off to Beanie the threat of what he could do should be enough to at least make lsu think and give us an edge up on those plays...I personally think AH is ready to do even more and would welcome seeing him run an option or two just to mess with lsu and hopefully catch them off gaurd
