I'm guessing Urban spent a lot more time with the defense this week. I'm also guessing that some rather unpleasant conversations took place amongst the defense this week. Purdue's offense sucks. That said, I am looking for major improvements this week.

The offense should roll up 400+ yards rushing and 200+ passing.

Special teams will not allow another blocked punt.

That SOB train shook me out of my bed in Moral my frosh year (22nd floor even). Hated that SOB train and it's SOB train driver ever since. Boilover... indeed.

As far as the pink gear concept goes I think the whole thing is a text book case of bad marketing.

You have a worthwhile cause that has made it acceptable to focus on womens breasts, even gone so far as to popularize the tag line "save the ta-ta's", and then when it's time for the ask you want me to spend money on some dude's used shoes.

Them: So we're talking about boobs......
Jax: Go on

Them: We've created an environment where there is peer pressure to do things you normally wouldn't do in order to save said boobs....
Jax (stopping what he was doing and giving 100% attention): I understand, please continue

Them: We have basically a whole country of hot women with great boobs who want to help us raise money.....
Jax (reaching for wallet): Oh hell yeah....

Them: Now please buy clothing some guy just sweated all over for 3 hours.
Jax: What the mother fuck???

Someone in charge of this thing is missing the opportunity here on a very fundamental level.

What I'd really like to see today,

An offense that establishes itself from it's very first drive and not letting up until the final whistle.

As far as defense goes, I'd like to see 13 guys getting to the ball every play. I'd like to see a couple of younger Bucks show that they will be valuable pieces of what this defense will be. Solid tackling.
