Well, the question of whether or not Ohio State would be ready for this game has been thoroughly answered. A first half of just under 400 yards of offense and 45 points should let folks know not to take the Bucks for granted.

Offense was ready, no doubt. D I'm not so sure. If it weren't for the 2 Purdue brain farts that gave us their possessions it could be a much closer game.

We haven't been getting pressure and our LBs/CBs look like they don't know the zone assignments more than I care to see. If Purdue weren't allowing us to move the ball with impunity and gift us TOs I think I may not be as euphoric about the half.

Second half wish: better performance by the D.

They're gonna come out swinging and we have to get better pressure. To the Purdue QB's credit, even on the downs that we did, he was getting the ball out quickly. Offense has been nearly perfect, the D has not been very good. Let's change that.
