In total, Ohio State named 20 champions in the win – 14 on offense, five on defense and one on special teams.
Offensively, C.J. Stroud and Garrett Wilson led the way as the co-players of the game. The were joined by 12 other players: running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams, wide receivers Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, tight ends Mitch Rossi and Cade Stover and six offensive linemen – Luke Wypler, Thayer Munford, Matthew Jones, Paris Johnson Jr., Dawand Jones, and Nicholas Petit-Frere.
Jeremy Ruckert was the only player who played more than 11 snaps on offense who was not named a champion.
On the defensive side of the ball, safety Lathan Ransom was the player of the game. He was joined by Zach Harrison, Tommy Eichenberg, Steele Chambers and Cameron Brown, bringing the total to five defensive champions.
On special teams, Chris Booker graded out as a champion and was also the team's special teams player of the week.
