Seriously, the announcers never even brought that into the conversation.

Idiot
I realize that Purdue were without Hummel, but this was a great win. When Purdue tied it up at the end, I was a bit worried but the guys really came through. This has to be a good win for the program and it gives them a bit more of a chance to get to 20 wins before the end of the regular season. Well done, Buckeyes!

1-whats up with one of the four guys "protecting" the court using a cane. oh yeah old guys with canes are real preventitive...
2-the guy who comes out during tv times out. like the super bowl commercial says. he makes me want to punch little cute animals...
3-weighty, thats how ill describe evan turners game. 45 mins, 26 pts 12 rbs, 7 assts. weighty. though i will note 8-14 from the line and he missed two front ends on the 1-1s so really he was 8-16 in oppurtunities and 5 TOs. granted he has to continue to play reckless but he cant be careless. he has the ball in his hands a lot so hes going to turn the ball over.
mullens 8-9 for 17 and 8 rbs
buford 22 pts but 2 rbs and 4 tos.
diebler dropped 10, 4 rbs, 7 assts
hill had one of his better games as a buckeye.
dallas, well he had little impact on the game, 2 pts, 2 goaltending calls, five fouls and what three boards?
simmons-struggled with the ball
i will note for the first time i saw guys turn the ball over, get beat, make a bad play and then hustle back on defense. that makes me smile. purdue without hummel is a different team. johnson had a great game. big game this weekend...
i was told he was a paid professional. there has to be some kid who would do it as an intern for free. or just have someone scratch their nails on a chalkboard, that would be more enjoyable.I am with you about the guy that comes out during timeouts...I still wonder where Ohio State pulled him from...

i didnt know that, i was at the game. They did actually mention it in passing later on, if I remember correctly.
Evan had only misssed one FT all game until one of the announcers started raving about his improved FT shooting, at which point he began missing consistently.
Boilers Fan;1398621; said:Change of subject but was something wrong with Mullens? Seemed like he was out for a good portion of the 2nd half and for a good portion of OT. But he still had like 15 pts and a great shooting percentage. Glad we could do our part to hopefully help him jump to the NBA for next year. :)
jimotis4heisman;1398864; said:ps what about the halftime show. that took any/all wind out of the sail of the fans. i was yawing after it.
granted i know some people like the glee club or whatever that was but i mean you have a top 15 team in your building, try not to put us to sleep...
i dont care what effort they had. its a glee club. i mean its not like they brought in ac/dc at half to put some juice in the building. van halen couldnt have lit a spark in the place after that. i mean they could have rocked out "right now" and "jump" and the place would still be wiping drool of its faces...Johnson was abusing him etting position and then scoring the ball. He had success against Lauderdale, too...but not nearly as much (I don't think).
They made no effort to get the crowd into. Dullsville.

then they bring out those dancers, i mean 15 young coeds prancing around 1 guy to some song no one has ever heard. its like the ballet lite... does that add any excitement? nope.
