PS3 NCAA 2011 DYNASTY ***PLANNING THREAD***

I do have a question for IBI's league. Can we use TeamBuilder to create a cupcake? I'd like to get my little alma mater in there.

That could work out pretty well. We wouldn't necessarily have to limit it to the cupcake roster, but could use just about any roster that's rated as a C- or below. The roster would have to remain exactly as it is on the teambuilder site, but using TB to build a team that the user would actually care about seems like a good idea to me.

So, Pineys dynasty will be B and lower, and IBI's is C- and lower with no user games during the regular season?

Never mind, just read through and saw that Pineys hasn't been decided. Derrr...

As of now, Pineys is a standard league, possibly B10 and SEC for Bowl tie ins, random draw for teams?

Basically if you are looking for a dynasty with Ohio St, USC, Alabama, Texas being user controlled teams. Not going to find it here.

What we have done the past two years is basically gone with middling teams and tried to spread teams throughout the conferences. First year people could pick teams rated 79 or lower (basically taking the top 35 teams off the list). Last year with the ability to customize conferences (and some teambuilder teams from the previous year) we started with 2 humans in each BCS conference. We would have 2-3 human non-conference games and then you battle the other human paired in your conference. (the idea was to have 4 human conference games/season).

So while I am thinking of it... time to 'announce' the rules for this year. This is the first draft and of course I welcome anyone & everyone's ideas to tweak it. So here it is...

Piney's Official BP Dynasty -

Teams - Roughly the top 30-40 teams will not be eligible to be picked. When I get a finalized list of team ratings that list will be posted and the line will be drawn to determine the final draft pool. I also reserve the right to cherry pick certain teams to NOT be eligible. An example is a high prestige team with a low ranking *cough* Michigan *cough*

Draft - Random order to be determined to select teams

Conferences - We will move teams into BCS conferences if need be, limit 2 teams per conference.

Human Games - As of now 3 non-conference human v human games per team (Or shall we do 2?)

7 min quarters set on All-American (if there is a good set of sliders, those will be considered)

That's all I got for now. Fire away if anyone wants to change anything above or other things I left off.

You could just put a top 30 (or whatever) and 6 star prestige ranking dis-qualifier. 3 non conference games and then the 1 conference game (potentially two for the conf championships)?
