Is there a list of BP PS3 dynasties and openings etc?

I'd love to get in on one, not too particular about any of the settings. I play pretty often, so I can alway mesh with anothers users schedule. Last years dynasty I was in (Not a BP one) was a trainwreck. Of the 11 members, only two of us played our games on time. I think we ended up getting through 2/3 of the season, just an absolute fucking joke.

Well, this one won't be a trainwreck as this will be the 3rd year most of this group will be playing together. We normally will spin off about 2-3 different dynasties for one to pick from when they get finalized each dynasty will have it's own thread pinned to the top.

Right now I am just compiling a list of names that want to play (shown on the 2nd post of this thread). Within this thread we will be talking about each specific dynasty So feel free to chime in if you have any ideas and/or other people's thoughts.

So, with Bluffton in we have a total of 13 guys (but WolverineMike most likely won't play as of now)

I have updated Post #2 with names of the players and then also the dynasty ideas so far mentioned. Any other dynasty ideas?

One dynasty my buddy was a part of allowed you to use any team, except if you used a top tier team, you had to play with 2nd string and had recruiting restrictions. It was so-so, but for people who wanted to get in a competitive league but insisted on using a team like tOSU, they could.

I'm more a fan of straight up dynasty settings. Everything I've read in this read sounds good, I'll be game to get in one.

Damn you Iron for coming up with a kick ass idea :wink2: (I DEFINATELY have dibs on Ohio U. if they are eligible in your dynasty)

So I guess we should get going with who is playing in which dynasties... or if everyone will be playing in both. And there is NO pressure to play in both. And I am sure neither Iron or I will be upset if you choose one dynasty over the other. I'd rather have players happy with the format so they stick with the dynasty versus someone not liking it from the start and within a month leaving the dynasty.

Like the 2 previous seasons, my dynasty will be with 2nd tier teams most likely rated in the 'B' area depending on the final team ratings list. My only item is how should teams be spread out? Shall we do what we did last year and go for 2 teams per BCS conference? (we can still switch conferences around like last year, right?) Or shall we try a different approach?

I hated that MAC league because we were all in the same conference, and we each had about 7-8 user games a season. This way we will never play one another during the regular season, should be very fast paced.

I have fond memories of mighty mouse Jarvis from the MAC league.

As for the second league I liked the format of the keeper league that we transferred because of the rivalries that developed. Maybe two teams per conference spread throughout the country.

And I still hate that everyone ruined the Ohio dynasty that was forming in that dynasty.

Then again... the difference between that league and Iron's new idea is what Wood pointed out. If everyone is in different conferences (which will be hard if we have 12 guys) at least that means everyone can win 10+ games consistently and thus be able to recruit better and thus make their teams better.

I came in late as Toledo, but I liked it. I got my first ever 5* that recruiting season, then the league got shut down and I lost him. Bastards.

I do have a question for IBI's league. Can we use TeamBuilder to create a cupcake? I'd like to get my little alma mater in there.
