:), Yes the browns will have a better record at the end of year.

So based on your assumption, they should have tossed Gates, who made a huge impact in the beginning of our season when LT was bottled up and give it to Winslow?

You have Cinci and San Fran

We have the Broncos and the Raiders

if we win all of our games, you'll get the chance to prove it on the field against us.

LT was bottled up because defenses keyed on him, thus leaving more space for Gates. The only reason Gates has more touchdowns that KWII is because the Browns have Braylon.

Winslow has been an absolute monster this year. He simply cannot be covered by a LB or DB. In my opinion, he and Mario Williams are easily the best two players left off the Pro Bowl when both should have been starters.

On the issue of which team is better, I'll rest on the quarterbacks. Come postseason, that's the position that most often determines winners from losers. And I'll take DA over your stiff any day.

Antonio Gates shouldn't be penalized for the Browns having Braylon Edwards. Gates still has 9 TDs, and I'd take those scores over yardage and receptions any day. And he only has about 70 or 80 less yards than Winslow. One could argue that Gates is having a more impressive season because he has been the Chargers' only receiving threat this year, aside from LT. Defenses can focus on him more, yet he still has 9 TDs.

If there was an active argument about Winslow over Gonzalez, then I would support it. I've watched both the Chiefs and the Browns multiple times this year, and Winslow has been much more impressive than Gonzalez.

I do agree that Mario Williams deserves to be there.

So, your argument is that people didn't defend Gates? Like no one knew he was any good? Have you even seen San Diego this year? Our main wide receiver has been out all season. Until we got Chambers people could stuff the Box and double cover Gates.

I understand you're happy about your team but Gates has been the most consistent TE since he came into the league.

Williams, I agree, he got screwed, but he didn't really make his push until the season was half over. Gerard also should have probably got in, he's been pretty damned impressive, but it's another small market team and jacksonville just keeps winning, it's not flashy or on sports-center, so people don't see it.

Winslow is better than Gates. He's more physical, has better hands, and believe or not, is faster. Gates has the ups, but if Winslow stays healthy, history will show which player is better.

If you've seen the Browns this year, you know that DA has three recievers to choose from: Edwards, Winslow and Jurevicious. Everyond loves Joe, but he has athletic limitations. Edwards has mental lapses. Winslow is the only one that puts both together. He's been the best player on a 9-5 team. Is Gates the best player on the Chargers?

Gates has been in the league 1 more year than Winslow and has 35 more Touchdowns...

BS... Anderson > Big Ben
Really? That is weird. Last time I checked, Big Ben completes 8.5% more passes, 3 more touchdown passes, and 3 less interceptions. His rating is also almost 15 points higher. Oh, and he is doing this in 74 less attempts, behind a poor offensive line overall (Ben has taken 43 sacks, Anderson has taken 12).

Speaking of which, where is the Browns line on the Pro Bowl team? I'd think Steinbach and Thomas would make it.

Taylor should be in over Fast (disappearing) Willie Parker and Joseph Addai.
No, he shouldn't be. He averages more yards per carry and is more durable during the year because he splits carries with Jones-Drew. People say "If he had as many carries as Parker, he would lead the league in rushing by over 300 yards", which is absurd. If he had that many carries, his yards per carry average would go below 4.6 (345 carries in 2003, for 4.6 average. Factor in age, and boom).

Willie Parker is disappearing? Last two games: 35 carries, 224 yards. He had a rough time against the Jets (For some reason...), and then he played in a slop fest for two games (Still got 80 yards each game). Leads the league in rushing. Second in the league in yards per game. Does lack in the touchdown department (2 touchdowns), but so does Taylor (4).

Over Joseph Addai? I could see that. He really has disappeared the last 6 games (No 100 yard games. For that matter, no 80 yard games).

Winslow is essentially in his second year. So Gates has really been in the league around 3 years longer.

And in the fact that Winslow had Charlie Frye as his QB last year, and he's really only been in the league one year.
