Premier League (Official Thread)

Spurs lose at home to Wigan. Was a good opportunity to consolidate their hold on 4th. Instead, they put up gutless, lifeless performance. The fans were shit too - the place sounded like a library.

The Wigan goal was deserved on their part - they outplayed Spurs the entire match. It did come on an error by Brad Friedel, and I hate to say it but they need to start featuring Lloris more. The ball was a corner just barely off his line and he chose to tap it out to the center of the penalty area when he could have easily tapped it over his own bar.

Well if misery loves company that you might be pleased to know Chelsea conceded late against Swans and end up only getting a single point.

Rather lifeless effort from the Blues...they have some injuries but still....yuck.

Spurs have injuries too - most notably in their central midfield. Sandro left with an injury in the middle of the first half, so we were left with a combo of Sigurdsson and Huddlestone. Not good. They really miss Dembele. Regardless, they should have been able to handle Wigan.

What happened to Sandro? Nothing that looks long term I hope.

I'm not really sure. He was never down on the pitch, but limped off about 25 minutes into the match. If I had to guess... a hamsting issue? He went down the tunnel to the dressing room after being taken off, but was back out on the bench after halftime.

Suarez is filthy. That was amazing..thanks for posting, I didn't see that match or that goal over the weekend. Just wicked.

He's an amazing player. Rightfully gets a lot of criticism for some of his "antics", but remarkable player nonetheless. Colocinni got sent off for trying to break his leg in that game too.
