Everton has really surprised me this season.

Would love the oil billionaires to flash some pennies and pick up Fellaini in the transfer window. Would allow Yaya to advance the ball a bit, gotta get the best midfielder around more chances.

Chicharito the savior for United today. Might as well just hand them the BPL crown. As bad as there defense is, they seemingly ALWAYS find some way to win.

No way. Their luck will catch up with them sooner or later. I expect City to get their act together at some point and make a contest out of it.

Typical Spurs loss. Great goal by Dzeko to win the match for City.

Spurs need some possession to see these games through. Can't just sit back once they get a goal and give teams unlimited chances. They sold Modric and van der Vaart and the players they brought in to replace them have been hurt or invisible. They desperately need Dembele back. Would also help if Dempsey would contribute something besides the occasional poached goal.

To summarise, there exists some evidence to suggest that South American, Spanish and Italian midfielders and strikers are prone to receive more fouls; and British non-English midfielders and strikers fewer. This might be construed as evidence that players from SAIS countries ?go down more easily?, if the reason they receive more fouls is that they are more prone to go to ground, though that is just one plausible explanation. From the estimates in (4b), a team with 3 SAIS midfielders or strikers playing 90 minutes every game for all 38 games of the season (for example if Manchester City played 3 from Mario Balotelli, Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and David Silva all game every game) would expect to receive 40 more fouls in that season than a team with no SAIS midfielders or strikers.
