Premier League (Official Thread)

Walker started with his hands on his hips too. I don't think that's the position you want to be caught in when you're trying to marks somebody on a set piece.

I'm also hearing some commentators say that Spurs' goal should have been allowed. That's BS, and I'm rooting for them. Was it an intentional handball? Probably not. Did he gain an advantage from it? You bet. If that ball doesn't touch his arm it bounces away from his body for a probable clearance rather than onto his heel to be flicked in.

I am a United fan, and they now have a 2 goal lead and are lucky not to be down 3 to nil. Spurs are dominating everywhere but the score board. I will take the lead, but I am shaking my head on how the hell they have managed to get it.

And now it's 3. Is anyone going to come out to play Ashley Young? Are you kidding me. For all of Spurs hard work, the ending scoreline will be very unflattering.

They show more fire getting the ball set for a goal kick than they do in defense. Spurs have been petulant the last two weeks in the face of any sort of adversity.

The commentators are going on and on about how these goals don't tell the real story of this game, but I disagree. You show your class by making the most of your chances, even when they are few. United have done that superbly.

Spurs' collapse in form continues... Everton lead 1:0 at halftime after Younes Kaboul got smoked.

The team is all wrong, 'arry has lost his fucking mind. His midfield is:

Modric-Parker-Sandro-Bale

Bale has been playing centrally and flipping to the right side more and more in recent weeks, and it has decreased his usefulness. So today, 'arry puts him there from the start.

Modric on the wing is about as good an idea as putting Steve Nash at small forward.

van der Vaart is on the bench, and the two most creative players left in the side are out of position. They're counting on distribution from Scott Parker, which is a disaster.

At least Defoe is in there. I know he is a limited player and best suited as a sub, but here lately he's the only player taking the initiative to try and score.

United to the top of the table by a point after beating West Brom 2-0 & City losing at Swansea 1-0. Arsenal play Newcastle tomorrow afternoon which is looking like a huge game in the battle for 3rd & 4th place.

Hold your breath Spurs fans, Arsenal are only one point behind you now. Newcastle were completely defensive the entire 2nd half & that was there downfall. Granted it took until the 4th minute of added time for Vermaelen to get the winner, but there were a flurry of chances for Arsenal to go ahead before that.
