Premier League (Official Thread)

IMO, Liverpool leftback Robertson is the best in the league right now, because he covers his ground in the defensive area, but he also really assists the attacking players because of his attacking style of play and his immensely good crosses. So the question here is: Can Robertson be considered the best leftback in the PL?
I would agree that Robbo is the best, but this is not the correct location for this thread.

Spurs take 3 at the last second to virtually lock-up a Top 4 finish and a CL birth next year... which would have been a catastrophe if they didn't given cost of the new stadium.

Although I'd prefer they get the birth through winning this year.

Lol Chelsea. New manager so I will give it time before wondering what their next move is.

Somewhat pleased with Arsenal given that half our starters couldn’t start.
Pepe - just getting integrated to the team
Laca - injury
Luiz (for chambers, very telling Mustafi didn’t start) - just getting integrated
Torreira - fitness
Teirney - injury and team integration
Bullerin - injury

Then other key players out (Ozil/Sead) due to threats from gangs.

Miki was brutal, Willock just not effective, Monreal old, AMN out of position.

Week 2 and one of the biggest games of the season - Tottenham at Man City. City is clearly still the class of the league even with a relatively quite offseason, and Tottenham is missing Son who tormented them last season in the CL series win.

I think that City will win at home, but Tottenham pulling a point would be huge for them from a confidence perspective and pulling 3 would be unbelievable from a confidence perspective for the team. FiveThirtyEight gives City a 70% chance to win, and that feels about right... but we've had their number recently, so you never know.
