Premier League (Official Thread)

Spurs (EPL) Columbus (MLS) and USA. I've come to like Ajax because of the similarities and connections to Spurs, but wouldn't go as far as to call myself a supporter. Was excited to finally see some Bundesliga this season, but FOX has stuck most of the games on channels that I don't get without paying extra.

A draw that felt like a loss today for Spurs. Blew a two-goal lead starting in the 78th minute when Alderwiereld gave away a needless penalty. The game really turned before that though when Harry Kane was subbed off for Erik Lamela. Kane had been superb, but apparently picked up a knock at some point. Having sold Soldado and not even given a squad number to Adebayor, there was no striker on the pitch once he came off. Lamela was terrible, having spent all summer on Argentina's bench in Copa America instead of training with Spurs. They looked very good for most of the game, but choked it away in typical Spurs fashion. It's a shame - they played really well before the changes were made - could well have been up 4:0 by the time Kane went off, if not for a few brilliant saves by Butland. It's a young team, there are some good things to build off of. Have to buy a striker or two though.

I am so tired of the "Chosen One's" routine. They got beat down and beat down badly. If not for some Begovic heroics, they would have been down and out in the first 20 minutes.

Well, as noted on NBC this weekend his routine usually doesn't last more than three years in any one place, so we could be witnessing the beginning of his next flameout.

Well I get that, I alway enjoyed to watch Ajax play as well, and the Dutch league, is a quick tempo league, and I like that too.. I hope you do get to watch the Bundesliga though, that's one of the better leagues with plenty of goals, and great teams.. If I had to choose I watch Bundesliga every weekend..

and for the Europe League qualifiers just watched FC Midtjylland from Denmark play 1-1 with Southampton from EPL.. that might get me to the stadium here, to watch the second leg.. other notables was that Odd from Norway just lost 3-4 to Borussia Dortmund also in Europe League..

A scoreless draw at Emirates. Both teams had chances but the keepers were up to the challenge. That's 3 clean sheets for Liverpool to start the campaign.
