Premier League (Official Thread)

Even when it's clean it's risky to make that kind of tackle in that part of the pitch. Gooners should be more upset about the terrible giveaway that put him in that position.

...and now he gets sent off. Brilliant. I'm surprised it didn't happen to somebody else sooner. This match is very chippy.

Certainly a dangerous position to make a tackle like that, clean or not. On the broadcast it looked like he got in safe, from the other angle I understand the call. I actually wouldn't expect anything else form Arsenal's opening match

I hope Liverpool keeps Suarez, because they look very thin up top.

Yep. If they want to even think about cracking the top 4 they'll need a big season from him.

But today I'm just going to enjoy the 3 points. :)

I don't have the Extra Time channels for some reason (thanks Time Warner), but it looks like the Norwich City - Everton match has had a really interesting second half.

Extra Time? I know I don't have it. I don't even have BTN. (Armstrong)

And with that goal the Arsenal fans are going to be really :pissed: now.

The Extra Time coverage is also on AT&T Uverse on the ALT channels. Incredible coverage so far by NBC. My Wife doesn't really care for any type of sports programming, but she was really impressed with the production quality of the Premier League Match Pack show.

I had read that Time Warner had agreed to carry it, but it's nowhere to be found in my program guide.

Same here. I am a big Swans fan and it is too bad they shit the bed for 5 minutes, because they were playing well up until then. Happens against ManU a lot though.

Just with NBC, I like their lighting/picture quality/color at times (w/ Olympics/SNF/EPL). I know that's one thing that can be adjusted via the various networks (in the slightest ways).

The one thing I thought was happening in the first half of the Swansea match was a delay on the commentary. The announcer would say things before they happened. I'm positive I was hallucinating.

Arlo White seems to be in the right spot.

I'm just glad NBC didn't try to re-invent the wheel and perhaps have commercials or something radical like the Olympics (they missed goals during the London Olympics due to commercials).
