I agree that of the QBs that we supposedly have offered Harris is the only one I want bad, but I would pull a Dontre for Watson....just keep in contact, and you never know what can happen.

I've put it in his thread but until he enrolls early or signs with UVA in early Feb I will hold out hope for Blanding. Like a few others Wad mentions I see the staff following him until the bitter end. Call me crazy but when the season starts up and we are in NC contention, and well UVA isn't I think we have a shot. I know he gave a verbal early to help land other players but if/when that plan falls short and UVA does too I have to wonder if an elite talent like him will rethink things.

Agree on QB/RB thoughts.....elite players or we move on.

Virginia has always been Virginia.....another subpar season isn't going to change things. Blanding ain't comin here......lol

I think Watson's plans to enroll early significantly reduce the likelihood of that happening (unfortunately). If Morris were to leave, it likely wouldn't be until December, leaving only a few weeks to make the flip happen. If he were going to be a signing day guy, I'd be much more optimistic.

I'm with you. Another year of development behind Kenny and Braxton (or two), and I think Cardale can be a very good QB for us here. I also think JT could be a star if he heals properly. I think we would like a QB in this class but there simply is just no need to reach. Only QBs worth pursuing beyond a commitment is Allen and Watson imo...take another OL, DL, or LB instead.

I went to the Spring Game at PBS this year. I'm certainly no expert on the intricacies of QB play, but I have to say that I was shocked at how fluid and comfortable he looked running the offense (even though it was a Spring Game, and even though he definitely wasn't flawless). When he came into the game, my expectations were pretty low based on the way Urban described his play a year ago. But Jones surprised me. He displayed some of the athletic ability that I had heard about and glimpsed on film a few times. Anyway, my point is that witnessing this performance definitely colored my view of the QB recruiting picture. I'm not quite as concerned as I might have been if I hadn't gone to the game and saw what I saw.

Gotcha. I know Duane loves Antonio Woods as a QB/ATH. Was hoping to hear more about Chayce Crouch as well.

Not a bad list, but I think that Ohio State definitely takes a QB and a DE in this class. If someone has to go from this list, I start with Hilliman, as RB is a position of depth.
