Regarding the 3-4 and Carpenter. I don't have any games on film other than the 2003 Fiesta Bowl and the three from last year thanks to this site, but it seems to me that one of Dantonio's favorite things to do (judging by the Fiesta Bowl only) was to bring a linebacker down onto the end of the line out of a 4-3 and then slant the line away from the backer. With Snyder at the helm it seemed like that didn't do that as much, but maybe with Heacock and Fickel at the helm they will start doing that more. With Carpenter's size it seems like he would be the prime choice to move down on the end of the line and slant away from. That would be a run situation defense mostly I'd imagine.

If trying to figure out how to get all your best players on the field is the biggest problem we have defensively then :cheers:. I'm sure the coaches LOVE having this problem and will figure out the best combinations of players.

Mo Wells was looking at the camera like, "Damn, more media coverage? It just a practice!" lol,. I think the boy is starting to realize how big Buckeye Nation is and how passionate we are about our O-State! Good pics, guys look good!

PS. Is that the new fad Al Dukes is sporting - Wrist/Sweat Bands around the upper calf? lol
