Power outage

Hey SParc! Waterville is minutes away from me. You drove right thru my power outage. It lasted about three hours. But how did you wind up in Waterville? It's a direct drive from DTW down to 75. Did you have a Xichigan moment?
Ummm yeash the intersections with a stop sign for each direction is a 4-way stop. Pretty standard in Ohio.

Hey! Mom and dad moved from down the muddy Maumee up to the Masonic community in Waterville off of Neowash road. Just up for a quick visit to see them. They're getting to an age that I need to start making a trip every month or so.

The drive down 75 on Friday was crap. Power was back on for most of the trip and I don't think that my parents lost power at their place.

Did I have a *ichigan moment? LOL, yeah, but at CLT. A couple of guys sitting in front of me on my flight had their bags overhead behind me. I helped them get their bags down and told them that before I helped, I was going to need an "O-H" from them.

Sounds like a rental car situation. Fill up in Ohio and say it’s full when you return it at DTW.

I know the Masonic Home well. I've participated in Memorial Day and Vet's day programs there a cpl times with the American Legion. And even had fellow Legionaires to visit there.
I've also fished for Walleye at the Island there in Waterville for over 50 years.

Haha i am/was so good at fishing and know the holes so good i always caught more Walleye than what i needed for the year. All legal. always had to throw a lot back. where did you grow up?
