POST-UPGRADE/HACKER: What's broken, what's fixed?

Edit - page source shows correctly balanced tags, so is this an unresolved call to the database?

This may well be related to an unexplained and somewhat covert rash of cryptic "mysql server has gone away" error messages I get throughout the day. I've been trying to figure it out -- both what's causing it, and where the hell the server's been sneaking off to, but I have no answer or corrective measure quite yet. I have a theory (related to time_out), and one that will be tested in practical terms in the near future as I'll be in tweaking PHP and MySQL settings anyway.

Is it bothersome somehow? The answer to your question is no. No way for you to stop it. I however can, I just don't have enough information or reason to do so. Amass an army, ted, and if I hear those voices clamoring for the death of the new posts link in the welcome frame, I will smite it.
No its not that big of a problem. I was just asking.

Is anyone else having a problem with the spell check? When I click on it before posting, it brings up my post but doesn't check it.

my understanding is that spell check is not an option right now... Not sure if it is something that will be coming back in the future or not but you are not alone... grab your dictionary and let your fingers do the walking...

Yep, spell check is broken at the moment, it's on my to-do list though.
