99.9% of people cannot hide their tells, It's weakness that everyone has and a real pro can read yours like a book. Part of the game is deciding to fold or not by "reading" your opponent, and since it is part of the game then part of the game is to hide or disguise tells that you may give. Ergo, some try to hide theirs with glasses or clothing. Oerfectly legal.
I feel like I'm talking to a dictionary. I'm well aware of why they hide their faces, and I wouldn't be asking if it weren't legal. It just seems pretty weak to me, and removes the need & skill of a poker face.

Then there is no reason , it is done just because they can, and if you feel it's not brave then you can play that way but I'm wearing my monk's robe with the giant hood.

Why not? It has always seemed very cheap and cowardly to me.

If your poker face is that weak, then maybe you shouldn't be a pro.
The real issue here is the fact that somebody is actually wearing sunglasses indoors. That is grounds for immediate boxing of the ears. Almost as bad as those fuckers that walk around all day with a bluetooth in their ear when not talking into it.

There's more to a tell than someone's eyes.

I don't need to see someone's eyes to tell if they are bluffing.

Again, if you haven't seen Rounders, watch it.

You'll see that not all tells have to do with someone's eyes.

The Atlantic City scene where they all take the tourists money is a classic.

Agreed, after all the scent is the tell that you just broke wind in a hot poker room.
