You guys are letting your hate for SCum cloud your judgement. They have a very good Oline and a very good defense. The QB and WR are not elite but are good enough. And I am not sure the RB are amazing with that Oline but regardless they are solid.
The defense follows the old adage of stop the run first and then move on to the passing game. Purdue just could not keep completing 95% of their passes yesterday.
For me I was a bit shocked OSU felt that their Dline and LBs suck so bad that they had to go cover zero all over to help stop the run. Seriously, that was just stupid. The only logic was that the DC thought SCum completely sucked and had zero respect for the passing game. Which I can buy for the 1st half but in the second half it was more of the same non-sense. OSU needs better play out of the Oline and QB and they would have no issue. But to think they can bring their B game and beat them seems to be over. The "A" game is needed against SCum right now.
I have watched a fair amount of Georgia and I think OSU is about the only team that could beat them. They can be beaten over the top and OSU is a team with WR to make that happen. I actually think the best is for OSU to get Georgia first and then crush SCum in the finals.

Leave the OSU oline alone. They completely dominated THE Game. Hurt RBs, and for whatever reason no Hayden is the only reason OSU didn't run for 150-200yds in the first half. Stroud also had literally all day and massive running lanes too. He froze up. I give the oline an A+.

Our OL blocked well, but the stupid ass false starts are drive killers.

I'm not sold on the weasel qb. I give him credit that he took advantage of mistakes we made, but that's necessary but not sufficient to be an elite qb. If we give him the same chances this time, that's on us. I don't think we will, though, and he won't be able to win Game2 for them.
