The OCBs are throwing a St. Patrick's Day party. We are brewing beer this morning(for a different party), chilling some cider, and have a hard lemonade on tap. Got Guinness stew in the crock-pot and a huge batch of corned beef going in the pot at 1. Got our canopy up, our garage cleaned out, setting up the Playstation for guitar hero in the garage and Wii in the livingroom. A keg of Hefeweizen is in the small kegerator, a stout and the lemonade in the double tapped fridge in the garage. We plan on pinching anyone who isn't wearing the green. Have a great day everyone!

Just a small recap. On the way Down we were treated to the sight of TWO bald eagles. One a mature bird with it's white head a couple miles North of Findlay on 75, which was the first one we've seen in that area. And the other was a youngster we saw a few miles east of Findlay on 15.
We love to see them.
For dinner we had stuffed cabbages and some kind of breaded chicken. tasted great.

Seen one on the River near Side Cut Park, unless that was a really big hawk.

An eagle is 4 to five times as big as a Red tailed hawk. Sure it wasn't a buzzard?

Just a side note;
To tell the difference between an Eagle and a turkey buzzard in flight look at their wing ends. A buzzards will have splayed ends and look like fingers spread out while an Eagles wings taper down to the end.

This bird was as big as you describe. I was sitting on one of the park benches last fall. The bird was in a large tree across the rapids near the park entrance. Very cool.

We take dinner there when the weather is better.
