He's not going anywhere. He was at the top of the list of realistic candidates for the nd job and wouldn't even interview.[/quote]

Unlike Ara ,who looked into the future and saw how tough it is to win, Fitzgerald doesn't impress me as someone looking for the next great job. I think Fitzgerald is perhaps the most principled coach in big college football. He loves his school and doesn't need the money and ego bennies other coaches fall for. He's happy and that's enough. I envy him.

Said it earlier. Fitz ain't going nowhere. He wouldn't interview with nd last year, and he gave um the high hat this year. He plans on being the joepa of evanston.

Good for him. I think he is where he belongs.

For what it's worth - A person called into WSPD this morning saying that Gruden put a down payment on a house in Ann Harbor

?????

What a crock of shit. Gruden is not going to coach in college - not while he's in a position to end any of about half the current head coach searches going on in the NFL right now with just one phone call. Personally I don't think Gruden goes anywhere at all for another year. His son is a HS senior and he's got one more year of pay coming to him from the Buccaneers.

He didn't "turn them down"...Miami supposedly pulled their offer after the rash of [Mark May] they caught for the way they were going about this. Funny how it's a "m*ch*g*n man" there bumbling that too. Looks like he'll likely end up in SF or Denver.

Denver is now moving on, LOL

This is crazy, lets go H:)ke

Jim Harbaugh - drama queen?

I don't care about what a pro team goes through, but the Stanford players deserve to know what's going on. Luck's position doesn't really count until sometime next week, but he deserves to know if Harbaugh is going to be there or elsewhere.
