Pittsburgh vs Washington: Second Round

Pittsburgh in 6....

The pens have more offense than the Rangers do. For the most part that goaltender they have has been very untested. I will know alot through the first two games. In saying that though this series sucks on so many different levels for my pens.

A) We just played a rival
B) More booing or stupid chanting when Crosby's on the Ice
C) Watching Ovie run around screaming and sliding on the ice when he scores.

A lot of the fault for the first Washington goal can be placed on Evgeni Malkin. He took a gamble and tried to steal the puck in the Washington zone, and he had a long skate back to the Pittsburgh zone. By the time he got there, boom score Washington. 5-on-3 was well executed by Mike Green.

And yes, Crosby's goal was beautiful.

Down 1.. Washington scored on a 5-3 power play. Pittsburgh controlled the majority of that period. Crosby's goal was a thing of beauty.

Just gotta stay out of the penalty box. Both penalties were bad ones to take, particularly Cooke's.

Good to see a former Buckeye put one in the net, even if it was for the Caps. Between Kesler, Steckel, and Umburger, OSU has been well-represented in the playoffs.

Cooke's penalty made me want to pull a Bertuzzi on him.

I prefer the McSorley method, but that's just me. When I can gain an advantage by using a weapon, I always will.

Damn. How do you let Crosby walk out from behind the net by himself?
