Pittsburgh vs Washington: Second Round

It's not on the teams....it's on the shithead fans.

And no, I didn't have to ask....but not because of what you said. The answer was already obvious.

I agree, but...

nice of the penguins to let their fans throw garbage on the ice at the other team.

The players, coaches, arena announcer, etc. could say something. Neither team did anything. It's dumb. I wish fans wouldn't do that.

Yeah I think it's just frustration from both fans part having to watch the other team celebrate on their home ice.

I just saw Fleury's numbers for the playoffs... oh geez.

He's not soley to blame for our troubles when we lose... but having a save percentage barely over .900 is pathetic. He's not even playing as well as his regular season numbers, and elite teams get elite performances from their stars. Fleury is suppose to be a star and he's not stepping up like one.

Varlimov has stolen atleast 2 games now. So far in this series the times we've won we've had to continue scoring to put them away. We need Fleury desperately to step up and play well. I'm not talking shut out but i'm saying 2 goals or less. Give us a friggin shot here.

Something just seems to be wrong with Fleury. The quickness other teams answer with is sickening, and it's been going on the whole playoffs so far. He had his great game 4 against Philly but other than that game has been pretty shakey. I figured the playoff experience would've helped him here? Maybe he's tired though... after all he did end up playing all but 2 games outta the last like 40 or something.

I don't think the defense is giving him too much help. Scuderi has been great against Ovechkin, but when Scuderi isn't on him, Ovechkin scores. He still had three points tonight. Some of the goals have been great shots.. should some of them have been stopped? Yeah, but some of them have been pretty ridiculous. The winner tonight was impossible to save.. if Gill hadn't decided to interfere with Fleury, we'd all be happy right now.

I do agree that he hasn't been on top of his game, however. I figured this would be a high-scoring series. Figured he'd steal a game himself, though.
